I see the potential for an interesting game where FAU can put up some points against USC if the O-line plays well. I don't see FAU pulling the upset since Spurrier will get his boys going after a close call against 1-AA Wofford last week. I think he will lay into FAU. My early prediction is USC 42 FAU 17.

Given what FAU has done thus far, this will be a good showing. GO OWLS!!!

Spurrier is an ass. Beat the 'Cocks, FAU!

>>"Florida Atlantic's not a great team. They're not a very good team," Spurrier said on his weekly television show Sunday. "If they hear that, they can hear it. They know they're not a very good team.

"But if they get a few breaks and come in here and stay on the field all night the way Wofford did, sure they got a chance to beat us. So we're going to try to put a better product on the field."<<

Spurrier is an Ass, but he speaks the truth. FAU isn't very good. However, South Carolina wasn't very good last week either. Maybe Schnellenberger should remind Spurrier of that :) GO OWLS!!!

Spurrier has always spoken his mind. Thats the way he is.

He's the guy that came up with "Free Shoes University".

I personaly like the guy. He made life much much easier for me while I was living in GA.

I think his biggest problem is that the high powered offense that he had at Florida isn't showing anything at South Carolina. I don't even think the defense is that good despite how commentators raved about the play of the defense in the opener against Mississippi State. C'mon, it was Mississippi State for crying out loud. South Carolina really has an uphill battle in the SEC and if they don't perform well the Ol' Ball Coach could find himself in the Ol' Unemployment Line :)

Talk around the SEC–

"Most to lose: South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier. Imagine the ribbing this former Gator legend would get back in the Sunshine State if the Gamecocks struggle against Sun Belt lightweight Florida Atlantic. After barely squeaking past Wofford 27-20, the Gamecocks couldn't overlook an overmatched opponent for a second consecutive week. Or could they? "

USC has a young team like FAU - 2 quarterbacks - the same exact predicament FAU is in – Spurrier is SCARED !!!!!

We are going to win this game - the team is pumped – GO OWLS !!!!!
