when a defense is not worried about covering your recievers (since your best are sidelined) then the d line can pin their ears back and go after the qb, the linebackers blitz and eliminate the running game as do the safetys, while they cover the wideouts with the corners. i still think that with rosey and hill we work their defense over. there isnt a defense in the country that cant stop chris-hill!

Just like FAU worked the ULM defense over. The Troy game was very similair to the ULM game. FAU gained exactly 260 yds passing in both games. QB was sack 6 times by Troy, 4 times by ULM. The O line stunk both games up. Both games end up in the L column. The only thing different which really didn't make a difference was that both Bynes & C-H played in the ULM game. Those two guys bring a lot and are definitely two guys you want playing on your side , but they aren't going to make or break this team. How the O line goes, goes the Owls!

I agree with TINY, plus i will also agree that having C-Hill out of the line hurt more then Bynes. Just having C-Hill for third down is a big advantage. The OL is where it start at any level, college or Pro. They don't need to be great, just consistent.

i will tell you this, our school and FB program better come up with a drug program and get these guys the help they need, it will also benefit the players that did not get caught yet. these players need professional help and they need our support.

They have a program in place. The current program is what busted the players who got caught. Nobody have a fool proof system. Not even Notre Dame!
