You're ignoring a crucial detail…which is, one more time:

No one asserted FAU should be in The Big East.

However, if you want to sing the praises of Troy, that's another story…and you should probably get a room, i mean a thread, with the other "visitors"

LOL.  Apparently the truth doesn't matter much.  Nobody has ever said FAU "should be in the Big East".  What has been said is that we would like to be.  Who wouldn't?  I've read many a thread on the Troy board about wanting to be in a bigger and better conference.  In fact, I've read that same thread on every Sun Belt message board.

yea we have had only one great year but the facts are simple we are in state with 10X beter athletes then your ours prgram will countinue to grow and get much better on the feild just for the simple fact we will be able to recriut bettter then you two our market is also 10X bigger then yours the big east wants to make money and if they decide to expand and add lets say us and ucf then they just created an i stae rival between us ucf and usf the big east has nothing to gain by adding troy.

They represent a small group of people who think they are better Trojan fans than those who were fans before some of them were born, and who love to make unsubstantiated comments and take nasty shots at any other program, coach and their fans.

They love to throw rocks from glass houses.

Owl country how does it create a rivalry between FAU and UCF? UCF is in the Conference-USA..

But I doubt any team from the SBC is going to get an invite to a big time conference any time soon. Unless it is FIU or FAU, simply due to the fact that they probably want a team from So. Fla because of the market, as was stated earlier….

Thats the trouble with Hype. If you don't live up to it, life can be miserable.


To reinforce everyone's comments, NO ONE ever said FAU belongs in or will be going to the B.E. It has been mentioned many times as a goal. We were discussing this when we were 2-9 in 2005. I have read comments of another university near here making similar goals.

I didn't even understand what that was? Banned??!?!?!

Anyways…..A friend of mine, Quinton Jacobs, played for Troy State back in the 90's. couldn't stand the place so he transferred……That's all I know about Troy…

Troy Alabama has to be the worst place in the country.  No joke….I drove out there from Atlanta with some other FAU Alumni.  I be bitter and starting crap on other teams boards too.  What else is there to do in Troy????
