So I know a lot of us on here are discouraged with the way the football season is ending but I think we need a little reminder of just who we are and how far we've come as a program even when all seems lost. Let's not forget that we're still a young program finishing up just our 14th season of football. In those 14 years, we've been a record breaking program as we are the youngest program EVER to play in and win back to back bowl games 7 years into our existence. I think thats a hell of a record to hold and no one can take that away from us. We see how much the program has grown since then and how it continues to grow. Out of all the universities that play football in this great nation of ours, I truly believe we are in an enviable position. 14 years in and look at where we are.Posted On: Nov 16th 2014, 8:41 PM #338146

It took the Gators about 85 years to become relevant in football. Most of the fans today are fans of their programs because they were born at the right time and didn't have to endure the pain of building a program. Most of the top programs are where they are because thousands helped build that program over time.
That is where we find ourselves…with the opportunity to make a difference…and be a part of the process. It is easy just to move on and let someone else endure the pain.
