yes they can

MGIII will be fine, we all know the skillset is there, getting timing down and getting caught up on the tempo and pace will take some time, its probably been 8 months since he's seen any real football action

MG3 probably did not want to be rude and win the job on the first day.

So to make things dramatic he will drag this out until the Wagner game, where he will show how well he can shine.

I mean… this has to be it…. right?

Wilbert cant hit any1 even in the slot with no one else on the other side of the ball. It was hard enough going to every game last year and watching him miss wide open receivers after another. Remember the only reason we won against UAB was beacause Alfred rushed for over 200 yards and a couple tds. I hope this is a temporary situation for the moment because MG3 is our Qb if we want to be successful this upcoming season.

guys, don't be so down. All the QB's are doing a good job if you read the results as posted. Whomever our QB is we had better support him/them. I feel all thre will see time even through game 4 before Coach settles on a full timer for the Belt schedule. For German fans, this gives him time to settle in and show his stuff in GAME Situations.

If we want to win football games this year, then MG3 best be under center.

I guess what I am reall saying is this: If you are an FAU fan, then you automatically are an MG3 fan. No MG3 = no soaring owls

Hopefully GeorgiaOwl's and NJOWL's enthusiasm pays off. because intrasquad scrimmage and practice is totally different.

Not really enthusiasm, more optimistic. The new O styl;e will help almost any qb be better as it, to me, is much simpler.

Like I have said, I personally hope Wilbert starts the Wagner game and they use Curtis and German some too. I want us to run more on an young, undersized D anyhow. Our backs are quicker this year too!

THEN, vs. MTSU, release the Beast (MGIII) and the passing game on a young, inexperieced D (especially the DB's!). Let MTSU see us run all over Wagner and get little to see of our passing attack before the game up there. Then, BLOW EM AWAY!

That is my vision but not sayin that will happen - great vision though! Our Owls start 2-0 going into Athens and UGA!

So I guess I will put all you old guys at rest for a little. I went to wednesday's 6:30 practice and got to watch the WHOLE THING start to finish. To be honest all the QB's looked GREAT. I watched MG3 take some snaps and he looked solid, he may not start the first games but it is not due to his lack of talent, just him getting adjusted. I got to watch them run 2 full 11 Vs 11's starting at the 50 and the offense SCORED on our amazing defense. Even if German does not start I know from what I saw our other Qb's can handle Wagner and MTSU. As for how I didnt get kicked out, I met coach Rekstis' wife and was chatting it up with her the whole practice and no one paid any mind to me as we were watchin. I also got to talk to Adrian Burtons mom and she assured me he would have his NCAA problems handled in at least a week(he was there watching practice).
