The return of Jared Allen
Thanks, long hours plus graduate school.Rick said
Do you know what his plan is, the little I have read about him since graduating was that he had a good job and had started a family. He must have saved alot of money to move his family and become a graduate assistant and go to grad school.
GO OWLS!

After a few years hitting the road as a salesman, I'm sure the dream of being a coach gets stronger and stronger, thats a lot of time in the car to think about how much you hate your job! You only live once, I applaud him for going after it and am really glad to have him back.

Re: The return of Jared Allen
I think Jared was a GREAT QB for FAU, especially in our formative years but I dont really see what he can bring to the table to improve the QB's and show them what it takes to make it to the next level. Thats what Brohm is bringing to the owls.
Im thrilled hes back as I love to see programs helping thier former student athletes if they desire that carrer path. But to say that hes going to improve the team seems a bit far fetched.

IMO, while he is not calling plays, or directly making decisions, he does offer some great tangibles:
He's postive energy for the guys to feed on…he truly cares about FAU…he's in the record books…he will work tirelessly to help the program…he will study film until the wee hours of the night looking for loopholes to beat defenses.
And he was a pretty darn good QB on top of that…

I agree with this, and if that is his role on the team then he will do a fantastic job.
I do not know what the job desciption of GA is so I may of misunderstood what his role was going to be.

Rusty has never been there, so I sure think he'd respect what Jared has to say.
