It's OK to post other sports news in this thread as well, since we don't have a general sports forum. If football becomes the minority of postings in this thread I'll move it.

Soon enough people will realize we're NOT FIU, we have NOTHING to do with FIU.

I emailed the online editor and told him calling us FIU is like us calling KU, UK. I'm sure their fans wouldn't like that very much.

When I went up for the game in Gainesville one of their fans said "You guys have no wins right? You've lost like a ton of games in a row" ? I said no that's FIU. He said what's the difference aren't you guys both in Miami. I said no we're in Boca Raton and we're FAU we are tops in our division and have a chance to play for a bowl. So after explaining to them that we're not FIU and where exactly Boca is in comparison to FIU I think they finally understood.

I know it's sickening but we're just coming onto the sports scene and soon enough I think this will stop. At least I hope so

I met a guy at work today and was introduced to him as Mr. Fiu.

I cannot put it into worlds how badly I wanted to ask him what happend to Mr. Fau, was he off winning football games?
