The Stadium *** Soccer and Football

I'm not talking about them getting paid I'm talking about scholy funds for room, board, books and classes, there is no getting quite a bit. It was covered in the past what I'm not sure of is if they are possibly doing it for the new incoming players.

Umm I don't know but $5500 for the summer sounds like quite a bit to me. That is the figure I have heard from a football player and no he does not get schollys from anything else but football.

From what I understand, scholarships coverage begins for incoming freshman in the fall and summers are covered after that. What stinks is Bright Futures and Florida Prepaid cannot be used for summer terms so the kids are on their own if they want to start early - not much of an incentive to get ready for the fall.

Yeah the whole bright futures and the summer thing sucks, I'm finding that one out.

I just remembered one problem with expanding the soccer stadium for football….there is an owls nest right behind the current stands. Expanding them back would disturb the nest and thats a big no no. :-[

But if the chicks have matured and left can't they then relocate the nest? I thought the law was you can't disturb a nest with eggs or chicks or what ever the name for baby owls is.

See my question in the open forum under the timucua thread.
