Play freshmen? other schools have freshmen that are physically mature enough and smart enough to play freshmen yr we do not for the most part we need to us the rs to our advantage…do you notice how undisciplined our upper class men are? and you want to throw freshmen in their?
give up on the season? nope way to many seniors who have been waiting for their chance if we want another owl in the league we have to let them play

This team's season turned around when Howard did not give them the chance to win in the michigan state game. They lost their heart. They beat UAB and played Michigan State toe to toe.
Hate to say it, because I'm as big a HS fan as there is, but this hit the nail on the head.
That blunder at the end of the Michigan State game, after these guys had fought back and beaten UAB from a huge deficit just a week before and had given Michigan State everything they had for 4 quarters and still had a chance for a miracle—-well, to get a vote of no-confidence from your coach after fighting that hard against a damned good team (that still hasn't lost) just deflated everyone, it seems.
No way we shouldn't be 3-2 right now. I think we would be if Coach had just let 'em try for the TD on 4th and goal at Detroit. I hate to say it, but this season basically ended right there.

If a bad coaching decision in Detroit caused us to lose to NT and ULM, then we need to go get some players who have more pride and heart. That's ridiculous.
There are bad coaching decisions on every team in every game. There are errors by players on every team, every game. Real players will move on and not whine and cry. I think the whole thing is just an excuse, really.
So if what you are saying is correct, I agree, it is Coach's fault–for recruiting players with no pride.

What?! Just because your a senior, it doesn't mean you deserve playing time. Coach needs to do what's best for the program.
If we don't give the young guns playing time now, next year we will be starting several inexperienced players at key positions (WR, TE, QB, DB DL, LB, K).
We have a losing season this year because we have too many inexperienced players starting.
