Things FAU could learn from MTSU's marketing of the NObowl...

No offense to MTSU and congrats on going to a bowl (honestly)
but
that was one of the dumbest videos I've ever seen.

Come on guys, gotta root for the Belt. Most of them put aside their differences and pulled for us the past 2 years.

I think we want the Belt teams to win…it helps to strengthen the conference if both teams do well in their bowl games. It's about building and earning respect and you can only do that by winning against other conference members.

These are part of the building steps for a relatively young football conference (sound similar doesn't it).

It's all very true, as hard as it is to pull for Troy and MTSU, it really is better for the conference which in turn is better for us, put the SBC over the MAC and work towards putting us on top of CUSA as well.

As for UCF… they can lose, lose, lose and lose big! ;)

Root for whomever you want but we need the Belt teams to win.  If the Belt stays mired in mediocrity, then anything we accomplish in the conference in the future has no impact on our program.  We do not get that many opportunities to play meaningful games against MAC or C-USA teams so the Belt rarely proves they are better.  We all play Belt teams and mostly money games against BCS teams (for the most part).

Beating these teams in Bowl games is huge for the perception of the Belt.  Go Troy and MTSU!
