Travel information for Oct 15 home game,

OK, it's time to start planning the trip down there. I haven't lived down there since 1980 and things have changed.

I would like some hotel recommendations. I would like to be relatively close to the stadium. I'll be flying in to Ft Lauderdale. I think I can still get around ok. Last time I was down there was 2000.

Any suggestions?

The Hilton garden inn (Boca) is the team hotel so if you stay there you'll get to see the boys in the lobby for breakfast

I'm staying at the Residence  Inn Boca Raton. Fairfield Inn next to campus quoted me $79/night. It's hard to beat that.

They'll stay at a hotel off-campus to prepare for a home game on-campus? I assumed they stayed at home but showed up hours beforehand for team meetings.

Re: Travel information for Oct 15 home game,

I think almost every team does that.

It isloates the team, makes sure they are focused. Plus the hotels have seperate meeting rooms that they can use for game planning and such.

Yeah and it keeps the boys in check, they can make sure their Friday nights are nice and quiet.

They have a team breakfast in the AM and start their planning and such from there.
