Yeah don't do a blackout that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard. I don't want to be wearing Black since it has NOTHING to do with our school.

I like the White Out. Go to wal-mart and buy a boat load of white T-shirts and hand them out to everyone as they walk in, you can print out flyers for campus to say be sure to wear white. Word will get out. For those people who aren't on the board or on campus you can make sure Marcus and Teddy know about it, I get emails from FAU about games and stuff all the time include the white out in an email. I bet it would work.

i like white....it is definitely the "coolest" color for south florida weather 8)

I feel like if we had a Blue Out, we better make sure we can win...we wouldnt want ESPN making fun of how we got blown out at our blue out

Athletics ultimately decides but SGA can influence it, especially if they're willing to pay for shirts.

Given that MTS is conducting a "Black Out" for us (and hopefully we'll win against it) it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for us to do a Black Out (losing color) the following week on ESPN, which will cover both games (a "White Out" seems to make more sense).  Also, last year the FAU fans did a White Out v. Troy at their stadium and FAU won!  Seems to make more sense to conduct a White Out again.  Keep with a winning strategy.  Go Owls!

I see a few people voted for a Red out.. Do you want to piss of coach? lol. The man HATES Red but loves Blue. If you had a Blue out you'd get 30 different shades of Blue unless we can hand out the True Blue shirts to everyone as they walk in, Howard would love it but it may be too hot

I was thinking blue/black would be too hot as well but then someone reminded me the game was at night because it was being televised…

I talked to Dexter Lamont who is in charge of marketing and he said that already the school is planning on doing a blue out for the Troy game. Sorry to bust anybodys bubble but that is exactly what he said so we will have to see if anything changes.

i c nothing wrong with that and in fact its about time they got off their butts and started being proactive when it comes to these things. I keep thinking of the off-color BEAT USF tees from last year and it wasnt good. If they do a blue-out then at least now I'll think that its more coordinated from top to bottom. thanks for the inside info
