Tuesday, Oct. 27th Practice Notes...

FAU hit the practice field Tuesday to begin field preparation for its homecoming game versus Middle Tennessee State University this Saturday.

The week began with accolades and acknowledgements for a team that ranks high nationally in punt defense as well as individuals like Alfred Morris, who is No. 8 in average rushing yards per game with 117.5.

Practice began with punt and punt coverage. The offense and defense moved to separate fields where the offense concentrated on individual drills and then installed the run and passing schemes. The defense worked on the inside drill and on 7-on-7. Both finished with team drills and the day wrapped up with field goal work.

“We probably had the best Tuesday practice that we have had,” said Schnellenberger.

Of note:

Alfred Morris (ankle) and William Rose (head) are still being evaluated for Saturday participation.
