Weird, the sound worked for me, although sometimes I had to reload but otherwise it was very good.

I suggest selling ad space on the website to help cover some costs.  Is this a joint venture with the athletics department? I would love to see baseball games broadcast when that time comes around.

Yeah they're still getting used to the equipment I think.

The problem with the stream stopping and starting, and the audio cutting out, actually had nothing to do with the equipment.  It had to do with our uplink from the stadium.  We requested a certain amount of bandwidth that would be required, which we did not get for starters. (The lower the bandwidth the worse the picture quality)  With what little bandwidth we did get, it got split over all the press.  At this point the connection was stretched thin.  What we didn't expect is North Texas came into our video booth with a camera, which we were ok with.  We didn't have a live camera and set setup for the announcers so it didn't matter to us.  If they want to use part of the booth, go ahead.  Partially into the first quarter, we noticed the systems telling us about the problems, as well as people here saying so.  We determined we had maxed out the uplink, and we decreased the quality.  Again, the uplink was still maxed, and we couldn't figure out why.  Come to find out, North Texas was using the camera in the press box to stream something online.  Which kept cutting our connection out and the first thing to go was the audio each time.  This made me quite upset.  In the future, we have to have our own dedicated line run from the cable company or the phone company.

Overall, the audio should work well, when the basketball games start everything should run smoothly.  Also I really would like to try to do some Baseball games  ;D

Hopefully our new stadium will have some fiber-optics or something and we won't have the problems of dial-up lockhart.  Really great job though, as other Alums have noted, its the difference between light and day from just listening to a broadcast….and to tell you the truth, it was more consistent than ESPN360 has been for me in the past…and you respond to complaints! How novel!

We will stream a basketball game in the coming week or two.  It should be TV quality and the sound shouldn't cut in or out.  I'll give you a heads up on what game we stream next.

The next game will be on CSS, and the last game of the season against FIU we will not be filming.  From here on out its basketball only  I would really love to do the FIU game, but looks like we wont be.  :-\
