Two Sun Belt schools in bowls

I think Troy is much better than we were last year and will handle CMU easily. LeFevuer (spelling???) is the most overrated QB in the nation and WILL NOT be playing a weak ass MAC team! Especially if Troy plays with some anger since I guess they preferred to play in New Orleans (so how did they get pushed to Mobile, more cash? and who made the choice?). I hope their people show up and support them, it is basically a home game for them!

Re: Two Sun Belt schools in bowls

Troy vs. No. 25 CMU is being called the third best bowl of the season. In three days, Troy sold more tickets to students than for any other bowl (Silicon Valley and New Orleans, twice). Troy people and Troy alumni from southern Alabama and Florida are going to pack this game and early word says corporations are buying lots of tickets as well. Look for a record crowd in Mobile, mostly for the underdog, Troy.

If Troy's suspect D backs can play well, Troy can win impressively. Then for the first time in Sun Belt history, a member team will end the season in the top 25.

Tell them to cover tight and jump on ALL THOSE SHORT DUMP PASSES AND THE D WILL HAVE A FEW SCORES!

I think Troy will have their hands full. CMU beat Michigan State early in the season. They can play. Troy will have to rely on strong defense to win this one. It should be a great game.

Re: Two Sun Belt schools in bowls

Clearly, Troy is going to have to pound the CMS QB with the likes of Boris Lee and Bear Woods, and the formidable D line. I only worry about the Troy corners. They should be much better, but we'll see.

The Troy offense should score handily.
