UCF football coach George O'Leary said at a booster function on Tuesday at the Brevard Zoo that quarterback Jeff Godfrey, who was the 2010 Conference USA freshman of the year but left the squad and was not in school in the spring, will be allowed to rejoin the team.

But he must first complete some academic requirements to get back in good graces. Godfrey will also have to learn a new position – wide receiver.

Oh well who cares. When German arrives he would have beaten him out anyhow! Go Owls and go Belt, screw CUSA, enjoy your reduced status with not two but THREE FCS programs (oops I forgot, Charlotte does not actually even have a team that has played a single down AT ANY LEVEL yet).

The Belt will far surpass CUSA within 10 years!

German would've run him out of town anyways.  But hope this kid can get his life under control again, and stick to something.  If he does that, he'll be doing some good things.  Best of luck at UCF.
