The Gator have a huge Alumni base in PBC, then again I have seen Penn St. establish a fan base group here as well - it has no effect on FAU for now.

FAU needs to concentrate on building a solid foundation for it's current students & Alumni's and everything will take care of itself. There will always be other school with a presences in PBC. Part of Brogan Vision is to hold on to students for four years, if we can solidify that vision then FAU will be in good shape for years to come, this will be a major pice to the puzzle along with the innovation Village, giving the current students the proper atmosphere to compliment the college life style they should expect from their University.

Even Marshall has a decent fan base down here. Its fans used to gather in North Palm somewhere on game days.

UCF people are always ready to bite off more than they can chew - from the D-II days when in the hours before facing Troy in the playoff semifinal, UCF fans called for the title game to be moved to Orlando so more Kinght fans could attend (and then UCF got blown out by Troy); to entering the Mac as the self-proclaimed team to beat (and then stinking up the conference); to hiring a coach who lied on his resume; to running the board in CUSA before making another step to the Big East; to selling out 40,000 seats each game; to winning a bowl game.

Brag on another team's board and expect to be congratulated? Toughen up, guy.

Well said, don't come on an FAU board talking about how UCF is coming into our territory and not expect people to point out the ridiculousness of your statements. UCF has had it's mistakes but all in all they have put together a decent program. FAU can pick up pointers from both UCF and USF, that being said…I'm done with this silly thread.
