I heard on the local sports out of Orlando that UCF will vote on a 50,000 seat $40 Million stadium tomorrow. Apparently the City of Orlando is not happy with this and this could have a large impact on this. Update to follow.

More reason for the Owls to get the "Nest" built. By the way has anyone heard anything on the FAU Stadium?

Im still wundering the same thing about our stadium.... I wish they would give us more updates rather than leaving us hanging months at a time.

UCF Board of Trustees voted for the approval of the stadium study and the news said they will meet in about 2 months to proceed to the next step. They said if it is passed that the work would be completed by the 2006 season opener. They are going to model it after the Pappa John in Louisville or the UK stadium. They also said it would be a football stadium only.

USF went through some nice trials when they moved up but never went 0-11! Not even with your upcomming move to the Big East. There's nothing to suggest that FAU will either.
