Too early to say year 5 because of the OOC teams so far. Year one it was expected and they were frosh.
Year two was overmatched in some games because of upgraded schedules. This was a very winnable game and we didn't take advantage of it.
Too many areas to start with.

The D gave up some very critical 3rd and longs all night. That was an embarrassing loss.

All I heard all night is "Embick back to pass.....under pressure". It sounded like he had to scramble every pass play.

EVERY PLAY. That poor guy ran for his life. I still don't understand why we keep the shotgun until late game.
The plays seems to work better for him when he can see the field. Coming from under center he always gets killed on blitzes.

I know they can't run or block for the players but the right calls need to be made at the right time. The coaches have to put the players in position to win the games.

Going to be a long sleepless night. Have to take a sleeping pill for this one. :'(

I agree, guys. This was a tough one to watch. For the team, it was a tough one to play in, I suspect. I'm getting a bad feeling as I look at the remainder of the schedule and think back to Year Two. I almost have decided to avoid watching Louisville's game Saturday….

Now I'll need to chase that sleeping pill with something stronger than regular water.

I hope we can take one on the road. Our home loss record is creeping into the back of my mind.

I thought we might have angels looking over that last pass and that those of us who stayed till the end would be rewarded but when ULM came up with the ball….Alas…This season will be very loooooong. :-[

My season ticket seats are on the north side of the field and they give me an interesting perspective on the game. The LM coaches were inside the earholes of their guys all night and I don't mean chastising them, encouraging them, getting them pumped up. I think they wanted it more. How will we ever win a game when we can't return a kickoff past the 19 yd line, run for more than 1.2 yds a carry, pass protect, run block, defend against the pass, or even wait for the ball to be snapped. How will we manage to stay in Div. IA with crowds like tonight. If it weren't for the West Boca High Cheerleaders and their parents I don't think we would have gotten past the 5,000 mark. Even the greeks running the cannon sucked. Firing the canon during play is not a good idea. I'm sorry for this depressing post guys. I'll go now, I'm gonna go hit my self in the head with a hammer till I pass out.
