They got off to a bad start, which is still having an impact. If we didn't beat BCC, Colgate, MT, and Hawaii early on, we might have half as many people attending games today. Those were exciting victories that got the attention of alumni everywhere.

UM is a Tier 1, private, academic institution. Once we have a stadium raising our academic standing will do a lot more to make our institution more attractive.

besides FAU's campus is 3 times bigger than UM's and much cooler with the new recreation center (gym).

i love FAU beyond anything… i love our new rec center beyond anything

but it is NOTHING compared to Miami's rec center… and yes that is to be expected… the school is older and has more money and traiditon

but to call FAU is "cooler" with our new rec center is laughable

Just wondering what Tier 1 has to do with anything?  Ohio State is the worst academic school in the Big 10 and they have 90,000 at every game…just dont see the correlation and I can keep going…LSU, Auburn, etc. are all not great academic instituions.

…We are still adding on $11 million worth of construction to ours, I think it will compete when done…definetly not laughable.

Does UM's rec center have 2 indoor basketball courts with electronic boards?
Yes, why is ours laughable when it is not ready yet?

I may be getting it confused with another facility…but doesn't the UM facility have an indoor track that overlooks the workout area?
