Interesting, I know UM was non-commital for a long time. This could be a great jumping board for this program - I was hoping it would happen later ,2008 or 2009.

I like the sound of THE NEST.

Welcome to the OWLS NEST kinda sounds like a wasps or hornets nest. Though Owls prey on larger animals.

Hurricanes won't be able to knock down this NEST ;D

The UM rumor is intriguing, to be sure. I think I posted this several months ago, but just in case….the best future schedule site (for Div. I-A) I have found is one handled by Jim Howell:

ERROR: A link was posted here (url) but it appears to be a broken link.

http://www.jhowell.net/cf/scores/Sked2005.htm

He hasn't updated in a bit, but he plans to right after the first of the year. He knows about the Oklahoma State at FAU game, so he'll be adding that. If you get other gamnes solid (on the website of one team or the other), give him a tip. His e-address is at the top of his website.

See you all at Lawrence, Kan., next September at the Alumni tent.

Actually, FIU opens at Kansas State in 2005. (The Owls open there in 2006 -- but open at Kansas in 2005.)
