I feel your pain, I gave up a an expensive concert ticket to watch that train wreck.  The first half wasn't awful except for the lack of offensive.  I think you broke it down well but I think you are making it more important than it is.

I still believe we can compete with USC, I am not going to say win but the conference is still the main focus.

When Van Camp threw that interception i didn't even mind because I honestly had no faith in making a drive and there was no way peterson would have kicked it as far as the field position Nebraska would have had with the interception. Van Camp looked fine. I don't think he's great but I hope he'll be sufficient next year.

I still think the d-backs played like wimps. way to soft, it looked like a zone defense in basketball. I wasn't surprised the second half they ran up the score because we have no depth and Nebraska was done toying with us.

I'm not going to even mention the offense because it was just pathetic. Rusty Smith who is suppose to be a 3rd rounder next year and didn't have one scoring drive and two interceptions. This is vs a 24th ranked team. There's a sea of difference between number 24 teams and top 5 teams. Troy is closer to Nebraska then Nebraska is to Texas. There's absolutely no excuses. It annoys me to no end. I could rant on this for the next two weeks but I'm not going to. It was just pathetic and they need to go back to the drawing board. Freshmen starting a line backer and he couldn't put together a scoring drive with 5+ seconds of protection from the o-line on every play. How the hell can anyone justify him being an NFL player? He's never shown up vs.  a legitmate team? Its not even a discussion.


I'm tired, hungover, annoyed and now I have to go buy some rogaine.

I'm sure Jake Delhome and Cleo Lemon had bad games against BCS teams.  That didn't stop them from going on to have NFL career's.  Have some faith.

Wow. I'm glad i didnt wactch the game. I get ESPN updates on my phone and they practically ruined my night. I knew we weren't going to win, but I thought we would score SOME points, thats what I'm really dissapointed in. And the problem with our DBs giving a 10 yd cushion is stupid. Why do they do that?! Thats just bad play calling on the defensive side, I don't see how you can justify doing that. Judging from my ESPN updates, I feel like we gave up alot of big plays, was that the case?

That's what I was told. I didn't want to miss out on the "big game".  Oh well, sometimes you make the right call, sometimes you don't.  Instead of great seats at the concert I sat at the bar by myself and watched that debacle.

Honestly I am just as angry as other fans in owl country! We are far behind in these games BCS road games and until we win one the university and athletics should not hype us fans up with false hope. The difference between us and Troy is evident because they fight till the end against these teams, and even though they are not wins they play with pride and it shows in the boxscore on sportscenter. They deserve to go to the big east and deserve their top 50 ranking not us we have not proved that. The closest BCS road game that we ever played was against Kansas with Danny Embick as our Qb, I remeber that game because we were fearless and playing to win; something I haven't seen since. As for Rusty this game is not going to help him one bit. The intangibles are there as far as size and arm, but he has been in everyone of these big games since Clemson and plays like he's a freshman in everyone of them. Scouts will evaluate him but in most of the BCS games he played terrible I can't help to think they will weigh that more than his other accomplishments. Howard keeps hurting his legacy I know those husker fans wanted more for their defeat so long ago and sad how we played hopeless to defend that. I expect more of the same play or a tad bit better effort against SC but still it's going to be a bad outcome as long as we leave with no injurys I'm ok with that.  Now what Fau needs first is a better punter and special teams, this is crucial because it can affect the outcome of every game played. The play calling was terrible and needs to be addressed Morris for example could've reached 100+ yards if there were differerent array of plays used. By fixing these huge problems Fau will be back on track they are better than this and I hope we continue this upward spiral of success.

So the University gets crap when they don't hype anything and now they get crap for hyping too much.  Wow, they can't win, can they?

You can really tell how inexperienced our fan base is as it pertains to college football.  Just part of the growing pains.  You know it took the gators about 80+ years to get good in football.

This is one game that we were horrible.  Let's get over it.  It's a football game that we were supposed to lose.  Not necessarily in that fashion, but a loss is a loss.
