I'd be all for it, but Howard isn't going to hire any new coaches.  Besides, without an OCS and great salary FAU isn't going to be that attractive to anyone.  Including recruits…… :-\

Better coaching and better recruiting, what's not to like?

Amato has been useless since he returned, Allen is the DE coach for a team with no pass rush, and neither of them can recruit worth a damn.  Stroud is the strength coach, and Carter, well I'm not sure what the deal is there, but he was their RB coach, so I don't know where he'd fit in here.

Of course this is silly, but your point is well taken AND until we have a decent budget for coaches salaries, and the lot, we will never get close to the level of UF, FSU, UM and USF. We are in the minor leagues guys! AA at best. No single A.

Look at today's news at Texas, 5M a year for Brown! Coaches salaries are totally out of control and are gonna ruin the competitive nature of collegiate athletics.

We will see MANY more Hofstras and Northeasterns over the coming years. But isn't that what a monopoly is supposed to do. Price the little guys out of business. The BCS must die and the NCAA must become accountable and regain control for the little guys to survive, let alone compete for coaches, recruits and in games.
