We made the MSNBC Key Games of the Week Poll

Like I said, no disrespect to anyone here. I certainly respect FAU and it's fans, but I stick by my statement…I didn't mean to compare us to UM or FAU to Appy, I was simply making the point that anything is possible in college football. We look forward to seeing everyone at the game Saturday.

Maybe USC should change their team name because Troy is the better of the Trojans.. Just ask them!

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Excellent. Well, we're definitely bringing some people. How many is hard to say.

Re: We made the MSNBC Key Games of the Week Poll

Judging from the excitement on this board, we expect a decent crowd from Boca. I'm certain you'll beat the last two opponents. I counted 12 green shirts at the UNT game and no more than 250 blues at the MUTS game. We will be thrilled to see 1000 or more blue shirts in the stadium Saturday. I think others from Troy have already offered, but if you have any questions about where to stay, park, or anything else just let me know.

;)

As Howard said on media day this is completly new to the player and that goes double for the fans. Were just learning the ins, out's and sacrfices that need to be made.

Good luck and I hope you guys tank horribly and send us to our first bowl.

everyone is giving this team too much props…they are not that much "better" than us…it is very close talent wise…

we dont need them to "tank"…we just need to play to the level we are capable of…but i hear what you are saying, and it would be good for them to boof a pass or two, or cough the ball up 23 times :D

there has been alot of emotional "let down" with previous close games…when we were favored…we play to that level…EXCEPT the FIU game, where we finally took care of business…

Saturday will not be the case…

get ready for a GAME…and no, i dont care that it is in Troy…

FAU will be prepared…they have worked to long and hard for this moment…its time to put up…….

Now, lets go!

I hope so, FAU does play to the level of thier competition WAY to often on the down side.

Im keeping my chin up, but like you said if Omar decides to throw some lobs up over to Polo/Smalls that they can just cherry pick Ill be a much happier owl fan.

Re: We made the MSNBC Key Games of the Week Poll

Florida_Owl I agree… Everyone is making it seem like we're playing UF again. Don't get me wrong Troy has a good team but they're not unstoppable. I think we have the better QB and a better TE. Our WR's are young and they are capable of anything. I don't think anyone will win by more then 10 points and it will be a closer game then that

ditto…i like Rusty over a banged up Hogabook…if it is his obliques, that going to make him a sheer target to pound, and hit as much as possible…we may try alot of blitz packages as we did versus FIU, but it wont be as easy to stop their pass…BUT he will still get whacked…if we knock him out of the game, i know they have good back ups, but that sersiouly adds some momentum to our pshyche…

i like your call on a close game…
