notre dame is in a no-win situation… their tradition keeps them proud, but kills them on the field in the 21st century

they need a conference but nowhere they go will allow them to stay competitive and keep their rivalries

michigan, michigan state, usc, stanford, navy… i dont know what the answer is for notre dame

I think FAU and UCF in CUSA is the most likely end-game. It would be a good renewal of the old A-Sun matches in other sports. 

FAU, Troy and some other schools (MTSU, La-Laf, WKU) would be fine in the other sports, in some of which we already excel.

FAU, Troy, ULL are very good in baseball

FAU softball has won the atlantic sun conference 11 of 12 years and the belt its first year in conference… that's not a coincidence

FAU in "other" sports will be fine in the big east :P

Well, since you asked we're hosting the conference championship game on Saturday and then going to either the Liberty or GMAC bowl.

And, again, I don't recall anyone talking or running smack about FAU.  There must be a propaganda machine in Boca Raton tell you otherwise.

And, again, I don't recall anyone talking or running smack about FAU.  There must be a propaganda machine in Boca Raton tell you otherwise.

I don't know if its so much of UCF talking trash as it is UCF afraid to play us again. They won't play us after we almost beat them when we were in I-AA, they won't play Troy because they beat them. We'd be going to a bowl for sure also if we didn't play teams again after they beat us. We got crushed by OK State but you can bet we'll play them again, we barely lost to USF we play them again in a few years… see the trend?

What was the final score against USF, oh yea 64 - 12.  USF @ FAU 35 - 23, and it was much closer than that.  Don't get to high on yourself, you not that good.
