What I meant was that the defense isn't getting enough credit for how well they've been playing because our offense is dragging us down.

Saw the opener and took a cruise, just got home.

Stadium is BEAUTIFUL, D pretty good, O bad, Coaching  - THE WORST!

Take a knee to end 1st half and not take a shot with a long ball?

Never go to hurry up O, which has worked well THIS YEAR!

ALWAYS run on 3rd or 4th and one - PLAY ACTION?

Fail to manage clock at end of game, leaving a timeout on the board and then have the clock run out when down 0-20 AT HOME! AGAIN NOT TAKING A SHOT.

These O Coaches either have no imagination and no balls or have already quit - OR BOTH!

Oh, and the QB Kooi sucks bad. My wife saw open receivers he looked directly at yet held to ball too long. Or saw 1 WKU DB covering 2 FAU Wr's and not have the ball snapped to hit one quickly before the D adjusted or called time out. BAD qb, just plain BAD!

LOVE THE STADIUM THOUGH AND WE HAVE NOWHERE TO GO BUT UP, GO OWLS!

In re the title of this thread: Actually, some of us have been waiting a lot more than 11 years for this (whatever this is). I got to FAU in 1967 and left in 1969 (it was junior-senior-grad school in those days -- no freshmen or sophomores), so I guess I have been waiting for 44 years. I think what we have, in general, is worth the wait, though I like to win as much or more than most. The stadium is wonderful, and the speed with which it was built (once financing and approval were in place) is extraordinary. I thank all concerned.
