- Home against Middle Tenn
- Home against North Tex.
- @ Western Kentucky

I think Middle over Maryland is barely an upset…Maryland is not good.  MT should beat them.

FIU….Well I could see them going up and beating Rutgers..it would be a good storyline for the student to go back and beat the teacher.

Troy will win at home.

All the rest will happen as expected (Sorry FAU..prove me wrong)

I am not taking FIU in any upset until they actually win something. I keep hearing about how great they are and how improved they are blah blah blah.  When I see it on the final score board I will begin to believe, until then they are still just FIU.

I do think MTSU has a legit shot against MD and I am taking Troy over UAB.

They nearly beat Hawaii @ Hawaii in the first game, it took a late 4th qtr. score for Hawaii to come back.
Not saying they will beat WKU but I would not be surprised either. Much more difficult to win out west with all the distractions and the distance and the quality of the opposition than @ WKU!

I like MTSU over Maryland.

Maryland was crushed by Cal in week one (52-13) and barely beat 1-AA James Madison in week two (38-35).

MTSU struggled against Clemson (37-14), but had a nice win against Memphis (31-14).

I take MTSU in a close one this week (31-28).

I remember the spread catching my eye in this one….MTSU +6

Middle gave Maryland fits the last time…Maryland didn't play well, yet Middles defense did have a solid game.
With that said I think this will be a close game, but Maryland will find a way to win this one.

FIU…as much as they have improved, Rutgers still walks away with a W in this one.

Western should handle a lesser opponent, yet it is not a give-me.

The Troy & UAB.  Troy's D had their moment early in the UF game, Florida had a hard time doing much of the 1st half,m yet their offense's kept putting their D in tough positions and you don;t give a team like UF short field - they Owls know the drill far.  This could be a close one as well.
