What are your predictions for FAU Football in 2012?

I try not to be unrealistic. The key for this years team is to score more points. In doing so , the D will be off the field resting. I felt sorry for last years defense. I don't have the numbers but I would like to know the ratio of D/O on field time. I have never seen an offensive team like last years. We need to improve this year and be hugely better the next year.  I don't think .500 is out of the question.

From 2-3 wins, to 5-7 wins.. PLaying Middle early will be a good reference point. Troy, at Navy, at WKU, an emotional FIU game, and then Louisiana is a tough way to end the season. But getting Troy, FIU, and UL at home could be HUGE!

Without a good QB, probably won't be
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Not true. We all remember our O of last year, and it literally could not be worse. Impossible. If I were the QB we would be better, just because of the preparations and build up of talent due to Carl's reign.

The O will be better because of the system.  It makes the D guess a little more. Unlike last year where everyone in the stadium and even those within 2 miles of the stadium could guess what we were going to try and do. Listen, we have some talent. It was just hidden under layers of bad coaching the last couple of years.

My prediction is that the scoreboard operator will not know how to work the scoreboard….I also predict 3 to 5 wins.  3 would be acceptable improvement from last year, 4 would be a good season, 5 would be an amazing accomplishment and hope for the future.  I also predict the team will get better every week (that didn't happen last year), I also predict the players won't quit this year.  I predict the future is good.

Remember the one thing about the Sun Belt is that generally their is not consistency from one season to the next.  The team that is good one year, is not good the next year.
