Yeah, I just referenced National Champions..but to win the SunBelt Conference Championship I dont think we need 1,000 yard rusher.

Yeh definitely not.  ULL had two of them last year and they were middle of the pack.. we didnt have one and won.  Having a 1000 yd rusher, that alone doesnt mean much, especially if your defense cant stop the opponent.  Its one statistic among many..but a nice one to have.

Bottom line is that we had great success last year without a 1000 yard rusher and we will hopefully have every bit of success this year while getting a good rotation of backs on the field. We might have two or three backs with more than 500 yards on the season even though we probably won't have a single back with 1000 yards.

The play of the fullback is something that is lost on most college and NFL teams these days, but FAU is different in that the fullback is a significant part of the offensive game plan. This adds to the pressure put on the defense. This is especially true when the fullback is a threat in the pass game like Rose. With this added weapon we most likely will not have a 1000 yard back simply due to the fact that one more player on the field is getting carries.

Expect big things from the RBs in both the running and passing games, but don't expect a single back to carry the load.

We have a good problem, many different contributors on offense, we are not a one man (or two) show.

We don't rely on any one individual to carry the team - the QB being the exception, while some teams do rely on a few individual that get the bulks of the work.  Like it has already been mentioned, we spread the duties around to many different players, giving anyone a chance to become the hero of any one game.
