I just don't understand why these fans tend to go some other places instead of supporting your own school.
These are the same fans that are late for the game and don't care if the team walks out watching an empty stadium.
Please fans, support your own school, create that environment, let your money make an impact on the services FAU offers.
This case reminds me of the marketing dept rejecting YouruniversityTV.com virtual tour offered few years ago by some FAU alumni.

BE THERE for the ASU game.
I wasn't there and I didn't eat the free food and I spent my money at Ale House. If anyone wants to question my loyalties to my school then go for it. I don't think I need to list all the things I've done for this school just by being a fan but if someone wants to question my fanhood then I will.
I didn't go to the game because this team sucks this season. I watch them lose enough at home, didn't need to do it in a small room on campus. Smaller venue, same outcome. So I went with Nunzio to ale house. And Alex I wasn't at the UAB watch party but I pay for my season tickets and I am inside at 10 to 4 every Saturday. You can find me right behind the FAU bench, yelling at the D. The people still outside are the students
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

That's all fine but when I look at the posts last week much of the complaining was about the $5!!!
Come on guys was FIVE DOLLARS really the problem? You argued that we shouldn't try to recoup any of the costs b/c the bonfire and other events don't try. Overall we appreciate your compliments but still feel that comments from some on the site were derogatory to what we are trying to accomplish.
If you all knew what it took to get that game up you would be amazed. Many people do not understand the intricacies of televising a game be it one camera or many! We need to establish the value of paying to have this done. With the turn out we had it will be difficult to justify in the future.
So why would you pay CSTV for a feed that wasn't near the quality we provided? ??? Most of your and others complaints were about $5 then you went and paid a NON FAU entity probably more than that!! Doesn't make sense to me.
We provided 14 foot tall screens and lots of free food!!! How did it look on your 5-6inch screen on your computer?
We appreciate the site but I can get the same info on other sites so don't assume that you are the one and only source for information about the OWLS.
Quit making excuses for why you wont attend pull out your wallet and support the events that try to move us forward! I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU IN PERSON!!!

You are going about this the completely wrong way. Most of the people here have attended more soccer (yes…soccer) games, donated to FAU, attended more owl club meeting, heard more coach's radio shows and traveled to see the owls, than any person that was probably at the live feed. I do not know if you are a student, or administrator but the comment really does not help out the cause. You have to understand that sometimes we rather just sit at home and watch the game with our family and friends than come to FAU and watch it with people we do not know. Or we just want to go to a bar and watch other games, while getting the score on our blackberry. I understand a lot of hard work was spent on this, but how about all the hard work that Athletics puts out to get people to the game, but yet no one shows up? I have not seen any post about those people not showing up. By the sound of it, you worked on this event and the attendance did not meet your expectations. Guess what…I am an Event Planner at FAU and it happens. It will get better. You cannot get frustrated. FAU Alumni, fans, and students and becoming accustomed to these events, give it time. I understand your frustration. If you need anything feel free to come to the Alumni Center and we can discuss how to market the events and expect higher turnouts.

No worries! I know you don't live near campus (Don't worry I'm not stalking you lol) You've said in the past you lived in Plantation or something. You planning on going to any BBall games?

I can't go to the game 2nite, but I'll be there to other games.
Can't wait for the fiu game against Thomas.
