I'm going to say The U, simply because most of their so called "fans" are only wearing their gear as a fashion statement. You know the type, the tough guy wanna be, over sized baggy clothes, driving around in either mom's big SUV or his very own 1993 Honda Civic with the big gaudy rims and loud exhaust. I have to agree. 50 percent of cans fans down here have never even seen the campus they are all just bandwagoners and thats why when um isnt in the top 5 in the rankings they cant sell out a game because most of there fans dont have a real attachment to the school.

I really hate UF Fans, but what i hate most is when people say this comment (above)  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE SCHOOL OR CAMPUS TO BE A FAN OF THE TEAM.  They are a south florida team and they have a good athletic program, thats all you need.

I think its nice to see nobody voted for FIU.  How many schools in the country would say that they dont hate the fans of their main rival (which FIU is, despite the record, just like UCF and USF despite their record).  Its nice, I really wish nothing but the best for FIU except when they play FAU of course.

Due respect to FIU, there's really nothing to hate about them.  The football rivalry isn't very competitive, basketball I don't know, but it doesn't seem like there's much reason to get all hot about FIU.  Maybe that will change – hope so, I'd like to see them become competitive.  Rivalries need some back and forth, and this one doesn't have it yet.  If FAU continues to improve while FIU can't find the light switch, there might never be a real rivalry.

The problem isn't that they didn't go to the school or have even seen the campus, it's more along the lines of them wanting all the perks when the team does good so they can feel like they're a part of a winning organization. "Oh did you see WE kicked Florida States a$$?? WE sure are a great team!" Ok so that was from a few years ago when they were actually decent. Now days they're prolly getting all the Celtics gear they can find at the local mall. It's no big deal. There were bandwagon fans years ago and they will be here years from now. No reason to get all bent out of shape over it

In all fairness though it was the same 4-5 guys and they weren't even talking about football. I was reading through the comments to see what their fans were saying. Out of the 200 comments they have maybe 7-10 were actually about football. The rest was about going off on the blogger for taking a vacation, then they started going into the Tour De France and the men's tennis match that was on yesterday. They fill that blog with nonsense

Hmmm…it seems that some of their fans believe they should be ranked higher simply because of the logo on the side of their helmets.  I can't stand Miami…

With FIU mining the Miami talent (I think Cristobal just signed a handful of guys off of Miami's best high school team), there's definitely a chance for them to go at least 0.500. Once they do that, there's the chance for the FIU students to come out of the woodwork to act a little cockier and then we'll start warring with each other.

It will happen and it will be good for FAU.  I would love to go to an end of the year game vs. FIU that meant the SunBelt title…would bring exposure and a fun atmosphere so long as the FIU players keep the brawls with the Canes.

If you read the comments they were basically saying that UM will be ranked at some point in the season in the top 25 because "they are athletic" .. Well that may be true but that doesn't mean you will be ranked for that reason. I guess we'll see soon where we both end up at the end of the season
