We had that going in New Orleans. Each year FAU Athletics, like many athletics departments, changes the theme of the year. This year, it was "Owl Time." In 2002, it was "real fans wear red."  But the Owl Time thing can definitely stick through the years with fans.


I agree i like the it's owl time theme…….except on the comericals where it sounds like a train is going off…..WHO WHO!!!

Yeah it did, but it was usually drowned out by the F-A-U chant that started after every score.

I had the booth right next to that guy. He and his friends were SO pickeled by 3rd quarter it wasnt even funny. Except they made me laugh.

They also asked what happened next when we won the bowl. I said nothing thats it, and they were kind of dissapointed. I agree. Playoffs would be so sweet.

Duffy's was fun (but not nearly as fun as NO, I'm sure!). I like the "Owl Time" chant. We could shout it at games at a certain time, say with 1 minute left in each quarter… it would sound great when we're ahead.

used to do this at the basketball games as well…

although havent seen it this year so far…minus me one game…but eventually  stopped when i saw i was the only one doing it!  lol
