Red on red would look like we're wearing our pajamas on the field.  And as bad as that would be, it's not nearly as bad as red with blue, which screams high school.

I like the uniforms.  I remember a few years back ESPN ranked our unis in their top 25.  Said they had a classic look, and they were right.  I wouldn't mind a couple of different looks, small variations, but let's not ruin what I think is a good thing.

If I remember the article right, they called us a "Poor Mans Auburn" which, is a compliment, it's a classic look, and I bet its driven by HS by large part. New coach, depending on who it is, you might see some changes.

It's obvious from watching that video that the kids love it. It's like when UGA unveiled the all blacks against UF a few years ago, the players were out of their mind! They took a few excessive celebration penalties they were so fired up.

New ULL head man Mark Hudspeth is a big fan of "changing up your looks", not only in the playbook:

It's (mostly about) finding ways to get in your players heads, to motivate 'em, to get the most of 'em, to get 'em to execute, play hard," he said "There are a lot great football plays that score touchdowns. "» (But more important is) getting kids to execute at a high level, play at a high level, play hard, do it on a consistent basis and be excited and to love the game."

Wow. The man sounds focused. Think he's right…need to motivate, inspire. Hopefully he won't get too much mojo for Sat's game.

For a long time we didnt even have FAU practice pants, we were using ole AFA ones.

With the switch to Addidas, they are now using the old nike pants as practice ones.
