Agree with questioning, but in all fairness to him it is his 1st year as QB's coach. The guy lives and breathes FAU football and seems like a good man. That kind of passion can never hurt. Would like to see him get a few years at that spot to see what he can do.
Love Jared Allen for the same reason. Who wouldn't want to see him successful? Hope he ends up somewhere else where he can continue his development as a coach.

Warm and fuzzy doesn't win football games. Don't misunderstand. Jared Allen is a really nice guy and loves FAU. He PLAYED quarterback but that doesn't qualifies him to COACH. EVERYONE knows how bad our quarterbacks are and HE is their coach. Some of you just don't seem to get it. I agree, FAU should find a job for Jared in fund raising or some adminstrative position but I wouldn't be looking for whoever takes over the program to keep him on.
Haha, he didn't recruit them or coach them for the previous 3 years and you are already writing him off. I hope you are not in management at whatever company you work for.

Walty - Yes he did not coach "them" for the previous 3 years but these QB's saw limited/no playing time the past three years. He is being PAID to coach these quarterbacks and in my business if you take a position, you better perform. Otherwise, you will be asked to move on no matter how great a person you may be.

I am not sure what your position is here.
Every head coach in college football gets 3 years to prove themselves…not 3 months. Besides, I dont think Otto Graham could rise out of the grave and coach Wilbert or Kooi into good QBs. Give the guy a legitamate chance to suceed as a coach before you just message board fire him.

Unless its Nord then EVERYONE is gone.
There would be alsmost no reason for a new coach to keep anyone on the current staff.
which is the point, we have lost every game, it's not all on the players, it's not all on HS… so NO to Nord, because we don't need anyone staying…. clean house.
I feel for Jared, he is family, but like any good coach, you need to get coaching experience from a bunch of quality coaches to grow.
Out with the old in with the new… just hope it's a good one!
