LOL this is funny…..so seriously i got this new thing called surround sound…..i think the game will sound like we are there….we could all get together close our eyes and pretend were there

I'm scared that if everyone is huddled around the AM radio and things go wrong we will have a repeat of War of the Worlds except with Owl fans running through the streets scared they will never get a stadium and/or calling for resignations

The Aftermath – Mizner Park:

Mizner used to be a nice place with the bookstore and the music on the lawn. Then the lines from the bookstore at book signings were "unsightly" and the stores there didn't like to pay the upkeep of the lawns that got a little trashed when a lot of people were there for live music.

So Mizner died. The Cartoon Museum has been renovated now and will soon open as a multi-functional space that includes a (smaller) bookstore (owned by the same guy), a Brazillian Steak restaurant called Zed451 (or something like that) and I think some form of independent theater.

Boca is in the process of redesigning its downtown plan. One of the things they want to do is remove the "unsightly" strip mall at the south end of Mizner and open it up to be more shops and such. Someone at the charette even suggested that it be a low price restaurant/bar area for college students but don't hold your breath on Boca helping us out in any fashion when they could easily put in a high class jewelry store there that will essentially waste that space.

The good news is that they want to connect Mizner Park to Camino Real, with a heavy emphasis on wide sidewalks and cafes spilling out onto the street like downtown Atlantic Avenue in Delray. We're talking 5-10 years in the future at least though since Boca, like everyone else, doesn't seem tlo have any money.

The Hilltoppers are a pretty good football team, just gave Ball St. all they could handle.

Remember when FAU was in a transition period winning games we where not suppose to  :o

Yet, this remains a game we should win - if we remember how to play football.

Get back to the basics and start concentrating on the little things, the rest will take care of itself.  We need a win to get some confidence back and to build on.
