I believe Angelos has stated he wants a coach that is going to zero in on recruiting. So at least he realizes there has been a major issue with recruiting. Because while people time and time again want to give this staff the benefit of the doubt with recruiting, it is painfully obvious when you look at it realistically that our recruiting IS AN EMBARRASSMENT.

It's been pretty bad and we've been fortunate to snag a few here or there who should be very good for us… guys like Hinds, Johnson, Henry, Reaser, etc.

We've given scholarships to a ton of guys who need a good 3 years to develop "in our system" so you ultimately only get 1-2 good years out of them. They're like uncooked pies and right now we're chefs that need to serve dessert but all we have in our kitchen is burnt pies and uncooked pies. So we serve the burnt pies and hope for the best.

First delicate girlfriends, now pies. Cumulative losses lead to strange analogies, I guess.

A question I have is, if the coaches are all poised to lose their jobs and coach S is retiring, who is doing the recruiting right now?

Not that it is really a bright spot, but FAU is ahead of MTSU in recruiting according to Rivals.com
