Talon, i agree i was planning on doing a big tailgate with the dirtys but now some of the dirties cant be there.

I know personally i have work till 6 and then by the time i get down there its past 7pm……

ohh well i guess…..


BAD CALL HOWARD…..should have planned it for Saturday….

I would have gone if it was on Saturday, but impossible for friday and it is a bit of a road trip for me, but would have been worth it.

I believe Schnelly was adamant about keeping the celebration event free to the public.  If they did it before the basketball game, the people with season tickets would come, the students would come with their id's but everyone else would have to pay, whether they planned to stay for the basketball game or not.  There are NCAA and conference rules that dictate complimentary admissions and I'm sure the athletic department wouldn't want to lose the revenue they plan to make with ticket sales for the basketball game.

lol, how many tickets did they plan that they would sell with both teams playing ohhh so great this year…..bad move!!!!!  just my opinion

Dumb question:

Why not just waive admission for the night by solidifyng a sponsor to meet the $1 NCAA requirement for the ticket charge.

What are we talking here $150 bucks??
