2018-19 FAU Men's Basketball Discussion Thread
#FAU 🏀 starting five will see some more changes tonight vs. Florida College:— FAU Owl's Nest (@FAU_Owls_Nest) December 19, 2018
PG - Anthony Adger
SG - Richardson Maitre
SF - Jaylen Sebree
F - Madiaw Niang
F - Simeon Lipechev
No Ingram or Stapleton tonight.
The Boys from the Burrow improve to 8-3 on the season. Despite the game's result, today still feels like a loss for the basketball program as Jailyn Ingram will sit the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
OWLS WIN! | #FAU 76 - #FloridaCollege 64— FAU Owl's Nest (@FAU_Owls_Nest) December 20, 2018
Dusty May's Owls beat the Falcons by DOMINATING in the paint, thanks to Simeon Lepichev's 20 PTS & 9 Rebs. Despite FAU improving to 8-3, the news of SF Jailyn Ingram's torn ACL overshadows the victory.

Personally sounds stupid and VERY biased to a late season run type of team jelling late or with early season injury issues. Ans while I sorta get the fact they want their better teams to play more games vs. teams with more wins for NCAA Tourney consideration, they also will expose those same teams to more losses!
This is like creating a Power 5 within your own conference to me!
CONGRATULATIONS to Xavian Stapleton on being named #CUSA's Sixth Man of the Year! The grad student averaged 13.2 PPG & 4.6 RPG in 23 games this year.#FAU will take on Stapleton's former team, #LaTech in the first round of the C-USA Tourney TOMORROW at 7:00.— FAU Owl's Nest (@FAU_Owls_Nest) March 12, 2019
