That was the weirdest start to a game I've seen in a while. Pre game technical foul gives Warner a free throw to start the contest. Then we turn the ball over 3 straight times…

The short bench (only 8 dressed) didn't help.

Truman is maturing, he looked strong under the basket tonight and we saw the first of many double doubles out of him, he was totally gassed at the end though. The freshman from Lake Worth looked good in the second half too, just don't let him shoot 3s! A shocking loss for sure.

Don't forget Botley was unstoppable in the end and if not for him we wouldn't have tied the game with 10 seconds left.  The 3 man bench became devastating.

Its sad you still think that Jarvis was a good basketball coach…..
You liked Jarvis personally, so you can not let go the fact that he was garbage 77-110 here and 0 post season wins.

It was a joke. Anyone can see that the entire starting line-up aside from one player is Curry's.

You really need to lighten up, your doctor can't be happy with combination of your drinking and hypertension.

FINAL:

FAU 75  Miami (OH) 69

The FAU men's basketball earned their first victory of the 2015-16 season against Men Against Breast Cancer Challenge Tourney host Miami (OH) on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 75-69.

Both teams traded baskets early on, with FAU holding an 8-6 lead with 15:10 remaining in the half. The Owls used five points from Adonis Filer (game high 22 pts) to fuel a 7-2 run that put them up by seven with 12:44 left.

FAU continued to lead by countering two Miami (OH) 3-pointers, returning its lead to 24-18 at the 7:04 mark.

Miami cut the deficit to three with 2:52 remaining, but a dunk by sophomore C.J. Turman (19 pts, 12rb, career highs) made the score 28-23 in favor of FAU, and the final two minutes of the period would go scoreless.

Miami seized its largest lead of the game, 50-45, with just under 10 minutes left.

Solid shooting by FAU brought them back into the contest, eventually going ahead for good with a Turman dunk at the 3:02 mark.

A three pointer with 49 seconds left brought Miami to within two, but perfect free throw shooting in the final minute helped the Owls seal their first victory of the season.

Newcomer Matthew Reed posted 13 points to round out the Owls in double figure scoring.

Florida Atlantic (1-3) shot 26-30 from the free throw line in the win, and will wrap up their three game stint in Oxford tomorrow at 12:00 PM against Lipscomb.
