I don't know Jarvis and maybe this isn't the case but… perhaps he's not pushing hard on the recruits so as to allow them to defect, thus opening up spots for his own recruits.

But on Sutton and Pena, there is no way…IMO…

It seems like he is taking his time putting his team together, which isn't a bad thing.

As far as losing players, it was anticipated we would lose some.  At this point in the recruiting game, it might not really matter anyway.  By not forcing the issue, it gives him a chance to evaluate his current players and what he has to work with and could have determine he has enough to work with till he can start to recruit his own players.
