Owl fans that cannot make the trip to Coral Gables will have the opportunity to watch on ESPN3.com

I hate this!!
Why are we giving fickle fans a reason not to go.
The only watch party should be at the game.

Well unfortunately not everyone can make the game. I understand where you're coming from but sometimes people have to work until late or whatever the reason is, why not give them a chance to watch it at a bar with other Owls fans if they can't make it?
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

I agree. I want as manay people as possible going to the game too but it's not as if the game is in Boca. If it was on our campus, I'd have a bigger problem with the watch party, but since it's not, may as well give fans the option.

I totally understand. It just annoys me. If people can make it to Hooters in Boca to sit and watch the game, they can make it to Miami…if they want. The problem with our program right now is we do not have enough fans willing to make a commitment. I know…baby steps.
I would prefer that Hooters (as an FAU sponsor), put together a bus trip for fans that want the Hooters experience. Put beer and wings and Hooters Girls on the bus with fans and charge the appropriate amount. Get the corporate name out there. Provide your products and get people to the game. Everyone wins.

If someone has to work until 6 or 6:30 there's no way they're getting to Coral Gables by 7. If they work until 6:30 they can get to Hooters by 7 because it's not that far. Believe me I understand what you're saying but it's not like we're playing Lynn. UM is still a good 45 minutes away maybe more depending on where you live

I know. i guess I am thinking in terms of people that have control over their careers and many don't. I forget what it is like to not control my work schedule. So difficult for me to relate. I get your point.
