Good news!

Avery Holley WILL be back next season…spoke with him last night at Publix, and he said there was no validity to Howard not allowing him to play, etc…doesn't know where that came from…

He actually indicated that he had the shoulder injury while in HS and carried into college, and just decided that he should finally get it fixed…so thats just what they did…

He is gung ho and ready to get back on the floor…

This is very good news…we now add another capable scoring threat from the outside and someone who can create at the PG spot…

Verry happy to learn of this news!

So far we add this to next years mix:

Sutton 6-10 C (skilled shot blocker & rebounder, moderate post game)
Pena 6-6 SF (sharpshooter)
Shine 6-2 SG (unknown)
Holley 6-0 PG (creative, 3 point threat, and skilled passer)
RJ Hall 5-10 PG (unknown)

Re: Good news!

yeah, I get it.

I have no idea where this team is headed so I'm just going to sit back, watch and keep my mouth shut. I hope we can improve as a team and find some sort of nucleus to work with.

Hey, Exit don't take so hard, I know that it might have seemed that a "gang-bang"  :o but we all have difference of opinions & should be able to discuss them as long as we give good reason (facts: would be nice) why we think a certain way, no foul my friend.

I think we just had a much hard transition then first thought, but there is some very good potential on this team, the future does look good.

Would be great if Rex can recruit another big man this spring. Sutton is coming in as a junior so does he have a full two years or a year and a half because of the semester at UF? In any case, we will only have Sutton for 2 years max. Another center (good and talented center) needs to be recruited.

you can, but i have scoured hi and lo, and kind find NOTHING on this kid…and with all due respect, i am NOT assuming anything this time around…the others, i am very confident in taking a stance on…this guy, no way…

BUT, i will have to say that if he is anything like Cordero, which was pretty much exactly what Rex said he would be, then we need to get Rex's stance on him and go from there…we wont know until he officially signs and Rex makes a public statement about his playing skills, etc…

if you have some credible info, please share!!

two full years…he went down to CC level…there is no penalty if you go back up afterwards, etc…
