I know its been said before on here, but it is REALLY hard to beat a team 3x in one season in any sport at any level.

Unless you are EMU's baseball team….ha ha ha!

Actually, even that wasn't easy. We had to rally late to beat EMU 12-11, we were down 11-9 going into the bottom of the 9th.  :P

Yeah we won all 4 games, but again…..wasn't easy (at least not the third game).

My thoughts on the game.  I was one of those guys trying to convince people to stay patient with this team & that Rex is the guy to bring us to the next level, with that said - Rex showed why yesterday in how Rex prepared this team for this game and how they came ready to play when the game mattered the most, during the playoffs.  Last night win had a lot to do with coaching and the players being prepared.  I believe that Rex used the season to get a feel for the players in different situations, formations, etc… When it's comes down to it, anything can happen in the playoffs, especially when every team in the conference makes it and I think Rex used that to his advantage during the season to get the team to this point.  Last night teams was a totally different team we all witness during the course of the season.  Even Sammy had some very good minutes when he was in the game, even some of the players that has struggled during the season played a much better overall game.

The only teams that have seperated themselves in the conference are WKU & USA and I think USA has preformed better the WKU has - Western is beatable, not saying South Alabama isn't. but that game will be the toughest od any games.

For the first time this team played solid through out and never let up even with a big lead, which was good to see, we never allowed FIU back in, another good sign of a winnining team.  It seems like the expectations will now be even higher for next year - and that is a good thing as well.

IMO, the offense should go through Galindo…there is no reason it shouldn't…he is the most talented player on the team - hands down.

Does NOT touch the ball enough…

if the coach is kept (which i doubt he will be) maybe he will see that…

Next year With Hicks, and Galindo back they should be a good team.

Hicks doesnt get as much credit as he deserves.....if he would learn to play with a little more power he would be hard to cover.
