Hey now would be a great time to give Jarvis his huge contract extension yea we are 9-14 and we just lost by 20 to the worst team in the Belt. Whens the statue of Jarvis coming.

Just curious, did you go to the game?  Have you ever been to a game?

That game was flat out U-G-L-Y. I think Jarvis is going to need to win some games in the SBC tournament to keep fans happy.

I am sorry i only got a C in Spanish I have no idea what you said.

Shut up

This whole thing ^^^ is just immature. FIU beat us, accept it. Don't make fun of their large hispanic population, that's just erroneous. C'mon man!

Um, "erroneous" is an adjective, not an adverb. But we know what you mean  :)

I do think it's interesting that FIU's student population is ~60% Hispanic and that will always be something we throw back at them, just like they always make fun of Boca Raton for being a retirement community. Call it immature, call it whatever you want, but there will always be more of this kind of banter in the future.

Re: Hey now would be a great time.

We were at the game tonight, and that offense is pretty boring.  Set a screen or pass it around the arc, and maybe pass to the post, but then kick it out and take the outside shot.  No one is driving the lane and taking on the defender, except Taylor.  The refs were calling fouls non-stop on us, so why not draw the contact and get to the foul line.  We played this FAU offense in high school …

I'd agree with that. It seemed like all we did was pass it around outside and hope for an open look. Our best at driving the lane are Taylor, Bertone and Tucker. I wish we'd drive more but it was difficult to do so against the zone.

Hey!! I resent that comment, the warhawks are the worst team in the 'belt. We are the 2nd worst.
20 points huh?
yo congrats bro you beat once in the last three years in the end your still a banana republic school …………FIU the only place where enc 1101 is a foreign language.

Racist pig. What does that have to do with the basketball game

By the way. I was at the game (first time at an fau basketball game). That small guy is blazing fast on fau. Another thing is that someone needs to teach the fans not to scream when they are shooting free throws.

Obviously you failed enc1101 with a comment like that. I had to read it 3 times until I can understand it.

Re: Hey now would be a great time.

During the game I was talking to some folks and the subject of Coach J's contract came up.  The fact that it is highly unusual for a coach that everyone agrees has done an exemplary job still does not have his contract finalized with less than a month left in the season. Naysayers will focus on this season and say his job has not been exemplary. Most if not all will agree the progress he has made with the program as a whole since he started has been exemplary.

I could be off-base, but is it possible the lack of a contract for Coach J and the possibility (even if it is slight) he may not be coming back is one of the reasons for the lackluster and unfocused play this season?  Consider what happened to the football coaching staff when they knew they would lose their jobs once Schnelly retired and the trickle down effect that had.
