Avery is done according to Ted Hutton. he had surgery on that shoulder and is out for the spring. should be back in the fall for football and we'll see if he gets to play both sports in the future…

HOLLEY DONE

Wide receiver/kick returner and point guard Avery Holley has undergone shoulder surgery, ending the basketball portion of his two-sport career.

He should be healed in time for fall practice, but will likely miss spring. Not good, and methinks Holley, T-Rex and The Voice need to rethink this two-sport thing. Holley can be a special player, but it was evident how far behind he was in basketball. This surgery will set him back even farther, and also impact his football preparation. It's a great thing he was trying to do, but I think it's time to end the experiment.

it was bound to happen...the thing was not getting any better and he wasnt resting it properly...remember when he hurt it towards the beginning of the conference season - it was not good...he wanted to play so badly he just kept going...
