i need a fix......

Can't say that I do, but I will.  I use a modified version of the old TenDex system of basically rewarding good things, punishing bad things and dividing the result by minutes played.  This is a simple explanation but BB is supposed to be simple, isnt it? ;D

Did you use the flux capacitor in your equations?

That's only useful if you can generate 1.21 jigawatts.

Countdown to the late signing period…….i week away :D

I Hope Rex has a surprise to go with Hall and Riley…

Actually i Hope Riley does not sign and they wait until after the late period to let him sign…that way no one will be able to sway him, and it will be for the following year…….

The last I heard (and I could be wrong on this), was that Riley was going to be a 2009 season signee–something about academics.  Could be wrong

From a basketball standpoint if he were to play this upcoming season, as Mr, Jackson used to say "whoooa Nellie" we could be awesome by around Christmas time.  From a strategic standpoint, if it is an academic issue, he needs to build his base now so that we have him for every game, and not coming off or going on academic eleigibility lists over the next 4 years.

He's attending Hargrave in VA….that's the whole deal…if he signs with us, and goes to prep. its a meaningless LOI…he could simply walk away from it…it would be nothing more than rutual…

However, if we dont sign him and wait until the late period ends, then we could sign him in the early period for 2009…

On a side note, he does like the personal attention Rex has ALWAYS given him - unlike the latecomers who are like flys on pie when a player gets going on the scene…

Re: i need a fix......

Hey Owls…just wanted to add to your discussion of the shift to the interior that I as well see the Belt taking next season.  While I think the Monroe, Royster, Sutton frontcourt you guys hopefully will be flaunting next year will be the best in the conference…it certainly isn't by a landslide.
UNT - I may be homer, but we just signed NJCAA first team all-american Eric Tramiel (6'7" 230) to go with ASU transfer George Odufuwa (6'8" 240) to go with a core of role players in the frontcourt…I'd love a true bruising rebounder…but it doesnt seem likely.

ULL - The Cajuns have 2 UNLV transfers (Lamar Roberson 6'8" 220, Emmanuel Ekiefe 6'10" 220) and 2 JUCO transfers (Lester Fergeson 6'10" 220, Jeremy Barr 6'9" 265) joining that deep and young backcourt…ULL will be back in the SBC elite.

UALR - Purdue transfer Johnathon Uchendu (6'11" 210) will be eligible to go with their two bowling balls in Mike Smith and Derrick Bails

FIU - Freddy Aspirilla (6'9" 265) will join Russell Hicks and should free up Alex Galindo to just camp out on the wing and miss 3s

UNO - Jacolby Pittman (6'9" 260) and possibly Jairo Mendoza (6'8" 240) will help make UNO into a very different team next season.  I think Jaroslav Tyrna will be vastly improved as well.

USA - returns a very nice rugged frontcourt

WKU - If Pegues is healthy and Walker gets his 5th year of eligibility (or wants it)…thats still a very nice frontcourt with Magley and Evans

MTSU -everyone returns

Add all of this to 5 of the best guards graduating (Banks, Lee, Brazelton, McCallebb and Bassott) and the style of play in this conference will be significantly different next season.

Also…sorry to hear about Rex.  Bad situation…he's no Buzz Williams, but it still looks kinda sorry on his part.  Hope you guys can keep all of that nice recruiting class.
