This season has turned into a mess…maybe Walters discipline wasn't such a bad trait to have after all.
To compare Jarvis and Rex is like comparing Apples and Oranges. Discipline is suspending Paul Graham against N. Texas for missing the flight, despite him being our best player. Discipline is not suspending Paul Graham for 20 days because you guys don't like each other. I don't find any fault in what Jarvis did last night and don't think it has anything to do with discipline

didn't Rex get the nickname t-rex because of the T's he got all the time. I don't see the lack of disclipline. Last week people were criticizing MJ for being to tough on Paul Graham.
Walters set an FAU record at one point during his first season as head coach for T's….

What some folks will go to to create a "story"…
Tom:
You're my boy…we sit along side each other…but, i question if you saw the same incident transpire that i did?
Contact?
That's a FAR stretch….
How about some video evidence?
Well not sure if you read his latest article this morning but I got a real problem with it.
"Several people I spoke with during and after the game described Jarvis’ actions as “embarrassing,” especially for a team battling on- and off-court problems. Typically, when a coach draws a technical, or even is ejected, at home, he is cheered and saluted for attempting to fire up his team and the crowd.
The perfect indicator that the crowd of about 700 was stunned to see the way Jarvis acted was the fact that very few cheered as Jarvis was leaving, a sure sign of a lack of support."
Well I'll tell you what Tom. I was there along with my fellow Dirty Birds and I have no problems with what he did. In fact if you watch the video on Ted's blog (from last night) You can hear the Dirty Birds chanting "Mike Jarvis".
In fact if your buddy Tom remembers what I remember. I remember the ENTIRE student section (including the band) which I'd guess was about 500 of those 700 people in attendance in unison chanting "Ref you suck"! and it wasn't even a cheer started by the dirty birds.
Maybe he was at a different game then I was?

You guys want to compare the results on the court?
What does discipline have to do with it? Rex was successful his 1st season because it was all of Doherty's players. Then in his 2nd year he wasn't as successful. I remember last year when we played I think it was Arkansas Little Rock in the 2nd round of the 'Belt tournament, we lost that game because Rex lost his cool and was T'd up towards the end of the game.
This season Monroe was suspended for academic issues that resulted from last year, when Rex was the coach. So much for discipline. Notice how none of Jarvis' players find themselves in trouble.

In fact, what are the positives of this season? I cant think of too many. This reminds me of the Sidney Green era…the bad part.
During the bad part of Sids era, we still won as many games in the conference tournament as we did with Rex
