In fact, what are the positives of this season?  I cant think of too many.  This reminds me of the Sidney Green era…the bad part.

During the bad part of Sids era, we still won as many games in the conference tournament as we did with Rex

To add:

Perkins (academic casualty under Walters) - would have helped this team tremendously.

Hughley being out was nothing that MJ had control over either.

The common factor here is that both classes were signed very late, with the exception of Perkins.

Monroe was brought in late…Graham was brought in late..

All of MJ's recruits this season were brought in very late…

Now, we have a full slate of kids, all who signed early, coming in next year…

Of significant note:  All are Honor Society Members.

Re: It's amazing...

The situation are so different like Jab mentioned.

This team is MUCH more disciplined on the court compared to any of Rex's teams it's not even funny.

This team has had to deal with some issues - much like it did under Doherty & Rex.

The difference that I can see is if you look at the new comers in Watson, Tucker, Richardson - you have something to build on & the others that have already been recruited  Things are looking up.

We just have to take our lumps this season - it's about build a program, like MJ has stated.

Next it will be a much different team.

Re: It's amazing...

I sat very near the technical tirade.  I believe MJ DID make slight contact with the ref, however, the ref did NOT call a T on that action.  It was several seconds after that when the first T was given so the T was given for verbal issues.  The "contact" came immediately after MJ Jr. got T'd up.  Now of course with all of the attention, you never know if the ref may say there was contact and that is what led to the mess, but I believe the ref held back on the bump because it was so slight, and gave the first T on MJ Sr. for something he said.

Thanks fauowl…

Great observation…thta was the point i was trying to make…

and how the mainstream media, which this forum and it's writers will never be like, is nothing more than a negatively slanted machne that looks to blast anyone the first chance they get…even if to take things completely out of context in the process to do so.

Rediculous.

That explains why they're all so short. Most of them look like 16 year olds out there.

But damn, Shavar Richardson and Alex Tucker were good finds. Good shooters.

We just need more height. We're not rebounding as well as we should be.

ASUN vs. SunBelt.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Yeah Watson is the tallest out of them and boy can that kid jump. He loves to dunk it any time he gets a chance. I happen to like the way they recruits turned out. Shavar, man that kid can shoot the lights out. I just wish Watson would stay out of foul trouble

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Maybe he could pick up some defensive tips from Royster, who is the f'in' man at blocking shots.

apparently he did make contact with the ref… multiple people on the team told me that he did

Ok, that's fair!

But, i sat there and watched the whole thing…

He approached an official towards the end of the incident, but i did not see any (agressive implied) "contact"…

If someone has anything on video to disprove that, i will make a public apology for the above remark ;)

Hey, there ought to be evidence of this…Afterall, there was enough video/picture documentation of Mary Carey's being at the game to last a lifetime ;D

This is me keeping my word, and aplogizing for making the statement above…but i will still stick by observation regarding intent…its concerning to say the least…and i think when the video is relased it will sharply pale in comparison to what was implied…

As 09 said…it was a swipe motion to remove the hand of the official form very close proximity to that of his face…
