Rex says some stupid comments sometimes, childish actually. I remember one time i asked him if he was going to play any big east teams, my favorite conference since I'm a NY guy and he got nasty saying "I hope our fans would appreciate all of hard work and be happy whomever we play"

when he says stuff like that its like the pot calling the kettle black.

I think part of the problem is Rex is very emotional & does wear them on his shelve, he doesn't hold anything back & is very straight forward - maybe too much, then again it could be the opposite & didn't say anything, which would give us something else to complain about.


Be happy that he does take time to answer questions - Howards has his moments too.

If academics really is the problem then why isnt he just forced to sit out for the rest of the season for academic inelgibility then given a chance to turn things around. Hes only been at fau for what, a semester maybe two.  Just wondering.

Well from what Rex was quoted as saying it sounds like more then just grades "I want nothing but the best for him and hope he can straighten out some of the things that I was no longer going to put up with."

He obviously had a problem with either Rex or maybe with Rex's coaching style. He may have talked back to Rex thinking that he doesn't want to be yelled at or something along those lines.
