The BOT is involved? So I guess we can expect a lot of meetings, presentations, and feet-dragging….you know, they typical BOT behavior on everything? Some of the board will probably end up asking how much a basketball team really needs coaching…..followed by empassioned speeches by a few trustees supporting the need for a coach…..followed by them agreeing that rushing into selecting a coach would be a bad idea, so they'll vote to meet again about it in two months.
Haha… forget that. Think about what would happen if FAU gets to the level where we need a 7-figure coach. Can you imagine the BOT saying ok to 2M or 3M a year? (Or worse yet, a severance package for that much.) They'll want to interview the coach themselves, public forums, blah blah blah.
